繪本中的狗Dog，有四個好朋友Mole, Goose, Ladybird&Donkey . 但驕傲的狗，覺得牠比Mole跑得快; 他比Goose還會挖地洞; 他比Ladybird要來的大; 他比Donkey會游泳。"I won. I'm the best".正當Dog很得意時，他的朋友們變得很沮喪... 其實事實上，Mole很會挖地洞; Goose也超會游泳; Donkey體型其實比Dog大得多; Ladybird的優勢是牠有翅膀，而Dog 沒有。這下子Dog受到嚴重打擊，發現自己是個silly show-off <愚蠢愛現的傢伙>，不過最後這些朋友們不在乎，原諒了Dog，還說Dog是最棒的朋友呢。Happy ending~
