花了一點時間在討論"封面"，why is the gorilla wearing a coat? Where does the gorilla come from? the forest? the zoo ? Why is he carrying a girl? Why does the cat show that funny, scared face?...
孩子們丟出了一些他們的想法, 這個過程可以引起他們的好奇與興趣.
非常意外的，他們非常專注於小女孩的loneliness, 也很認真的找書中的小細節，牆上的畫、房間的畫、夜燈上都有大猩猩的蹤影．當小女孩把她的生日禮物（一隻大猩猩玩偶）往牆邊扔去，晚上時，它變成了一隻活生生的大猩猩，這實在是書裡的最精彩處，大猩猩炯炯有神的眼神更是震攝住我們的注意力．這不得不讓我們更佩服作者的功力．非常值得與孩子一起共讀，一起感受寂寞、屏氣凝神、享受驚喜、再回歸現實的一個好作品喔！We've enjoyed it a lot. Now, it's your turn to check it out!
